History of the barge

Its original name was Aurora, and of Dutch origin like its previous owners, the barge was originally designed for carrying cocoa. Passionate about boat construction, they decided to transform the barge into a floating hotel and propose luxury inland water cruises. So since 1998, Clair de Lune has welcomed guests on board in an exceptional luxury environment to part take in fascinating and authentic cruises on the Canal du Midi.
